Description of Contents
The collection consists of five boxes containing various clippings, programs, magazines and newsletters concerning both Frank Leslie as well as his longstanding friendship with J. Paul Getty.
The first box consists of several photographs of Leslie from his time at West High School as well as a yearbook and scrapbook from that same era. It also includes a photo album from a trip Frank and Ruth Leslie took to visit Getty in England and Italy (c. 1960s). The second box contains various files of correspondence and clippings related to Leslie and J. Paul Getty as well as several magazines, newsletters and printed programs related to or discussing Getty. The third box contains roughly 125 color slides (many duplicates) of J. Paul Getty's Sutton Place estate, at least some of which appear to overlap with the photo album from Box 1.
