Description of Contents
Over 1300 maps of Minneapolis and Hennepin County from the 1820s to the 2010s. Maps range from city planning drafts to published tourist brochure maps. The bulk of the collection documents Minneapolis, but Hennepin County suburbs and the entire Twin Cities metropolitan area are often included. The collection includes many planning maps donated by the City of Minneapolis in 2018. Maps are arranged chronologically. Creator, contributor, and publisher information are included when known.
