journal belonging to Loretta Samels and her daughter June Loretta Taylor. Both women attended St. Margaret's Academy in the early 1900s, and the materials relate to this school.

Biography
Loretta Samels (married name Taylor) and her daughter June Loretta Taylor (married name Murphy) attended St. Margaret’s Academy, a Catholic girls’ school, in the early 1900s. Loretta Samels first attended Holy Angels Academy and later St. Margaret’s, which was founded in 1907. June Loretta Taylor (married name Murphy) attended St. Margaret’s Academy from 1937 to 1940. St. Margaret's Academy.
St. Margaret's Academy merged with Benilde High School in 1974 to become Benilde-St. Margaret's.
