Description of Contents
The collection consists of color 35mm slide transparencies depicting exterior scenes of downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul in 1979. Several of the images are blurry or otherwise of low quality. Landmarks photographed include CenturyLink Building, Hennepin County Medical Center, City Hall, Basilica of St. Mary, Powers, IDS Center, Foshay Tower, Hennepin County Government Center, Berger Fountain, Skyway to IDS Center, Butler Square Atrium, Minneapolis Post Office, Gateway Park Fountain, and Schmitt Music Mural.
