The collection consists of prints, acetate negatives, and glass-plate negatives of photographs taken by Arnold D. Roth in Minneapolis during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Principal subjects include downtown street scenes and businesses, houses, and Minnehaha Falls.

Biography

Arnold D. Roth (1863-1941) was a Minneapolis commercial photographer from the late 1800s to 1941. Roth specialized in real estate photography and railroad and streetcar claims. He was a member of the Ark lodge, Royal Arch Masons.
