Minneapolis Board of Trade Minute Book
One box. The book is a handwritten book of minutes of meetings of the Board of Trade from April 1895 to April 1899. The entries are all written by the Board's Secretary, John T. Hemphill. There are also a few newspaper articles relevant to the Board's business pasted in at various spots.

Both libraries were part of the Minneapolis Public Library. The Minneapolis Public Library and Hennepin County Library merged in 2008.

The collection consists of yearbooks or directories from the Minneapolis Council Parent Teacher Association spanning the years 1925-1973. Included in each yearbook are lists of each committee and their purpose; membership and officer lists for specific schools and neighborhoods; constitution and by-laws; parent-teacher prayer; and important meeting dates.

Minneapolis Fire Department Photographs and Scrapbooks
Print photographs and scrapbooks documenting Minneapolis Fire Department activities from the 1870s to 1970s. Most photos show fires in progress, but other photos include fire department staff and Miss Flame contestants. The three scrapbooks include photographs, newspaper clippings, and other ephemera. The bulk of materials are from the 1950s-1970s.

Minneapolis Public Library Board Minutes
Signed board minutes of the Minneapolis Public Library Board from 1885 to 2007. In later years, corresponding documentation and board packet materials are included with the minutes. From 1885 to 1909, and again in 1911, the minutes were handwritten in bound volumes. All other minutes are typewritten.

This collection contains the staff newsletter of the Minneapolis Public Library from 1908 to 2007. Entitled the Official Bulletin (and occassionally the Weekly Bulletin), this publication includes information on staff appointments, staff transfers, staff retirements, benefits, library events, local events, and information needed for daily work in the library. Occassional inserts accompany the bulletins.
