History

Riverside Branch Library opened in 1908 at 2016 24th Ave. S in the Seward neighborhood. The library served a largely Scandinavian, immigrant population. The library closed in 1915.

Abstract

Annual reports documenting the history and operations of Riverside Library in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from 1908 to 1912. Riverside Library was part of the Minneapolis Public Library. The Minneapolis Public Library and Hennepin County Library merged in 2008.

Custodial History

Materials from before 2008 were included in the Minneapolis Public Library archives (accession 2019.25).
