The collection details and documents Harrington's donation of a mobile canteen for the British Military via the English-Speaking Union. Includes correspondence and newspaper clippings on the American Red Cross, Hennepin County Chapter.
The collection consists correspondence, personal papers, clippings and various biographical items on Holtzermann, his wife Eugenie (Jenny) and daughter Charlotte; papers, studies and correspondence related to Holtzermann's time on the Minneapolis Planning Commission in the late 1950s and early 1960s; and copies of the Minnesota Beacon.
Collection includes photographs, official notices, clippings (concerning establishment of the Women's Reserve Corps, dress, and special events); publications, and miscellaneous ephemera. Box 1 includes clippings, photos, and ephemera. Box 2 is a scrapbook covering 1943-1947. Box 3 is a service scrapbook album, U.S. Marines, 1943-1940s.
