Collection on the Minneapolis Model City Program
Collection on the Nicollet Mall
The collection includes newspaper clippings, newsletters, fact sheets, reports & studies, project plans & proposals, and promotional material. Memoranda and meeting minutes from the Nicollet Mall Implementation Board are also included. Most of the collection centers around two main mall designs/re-designs, one in the late 1960s and the other the late 1980s.

Newspaper clipping copies, correspondence, a few photographs, and press releases documenting the efforts of Emergency Lakes Environmental Coalition Task Force (ELECT) to prevent hi-rise development on Lake Calhoun (now Bde Maka Ska) from 1987 to 1990. Records are arranged by date. Materials from later dates relate to other planned hi-rises near the lakes.

Phill Lindsay City of Minneapolis Television Programs
Video recordings and production notes for the ARTIFACTS, Inside Minneapolis, and On CUE television programs produced by the City of Minneapolis from 1991 to 2004. Production notes include log sheets, scripts, research and reference materials on guests and topics, and correspondence. Video recordings were digitized from VHS and all recordings are available in the Hennepin County Library Digital Collections. Note that cassettes A06, A34, A42-A47, and A55 do not exist.
Prospect Park Association Records
The collection consists of materials from Prospect Park Association (formerly the Prospect Park and East River Road Improvement Association), including organizational records, subject files, financial records, and media. Due to a house fire in the 1970s, many of the early records were lost. The bulk of the material dates from the 1960s to the early 2000s. The Newsletters and Agendas, Minutes, Etc. series are good entries to the collection.
Riverfront Development Coordination Board Records
Collection consists of board meeting minutes; a comprehensive list of goals and objectives dated May 5, 1977; and a copy of the master plan dated November 2, 1978.
Robert Moffitt Slides
The collection consists of color slide transparencies of Minneapolis scenes, especially buildings and downtown land use, taken by Minneapolis City Planning Department employee Robert Moffitt from the 1960s to 1990s. Most images are unlabelled.
