Description of the Collection This collection consists of primary drafts and proposal changes from various time periods in the City's charter history. It also includes some correspondence and notes from 1894-1903. This collection includes one box of materials relating to the activities of the Minnesota Civil Liberties Union between 1962 and 1997. These materials consist mostly of offical documents from the organization including: incorporation papers, meeting minutes, financial statements, case reports, and press releases. In addition there are newspaper clippings involving the organization dated between 1962 and 1997.

Subseries was accompanied by a memo from the Minneapolis Public Library noting, "This ms consist (sic) of a few notes in Mrs. Paige's handwriting, but, for the most part, of transcriptions from dictation--Mrs. Paige's reminiscences of her life. Mrs. Darragh Aldrich had access to these in writing her biography of Mrs. Paige, Lady in Law, though much of the material in the notes did not get into the book."

This collection includes a scrapbook which includes clippings that trace the campaign's history. The scrapbook appears to have been prepared by Mrs. Clifford C. (Lottie M.) Neff, who was chairman of the campaign.
